At Discoverly we love Rapportive. Like a close friend that’s always been there by our (email) side, reliable and ready to help. One of those friends that shows you things you’d have never seen on your own. And when friends like that stumble, you don’t give up on them. You prop them up and get them back on their feet, so that’s what we’re doing.
Discoverly in Gmail
Today we launched Discoverly in Gmail that works in concert with Rapportive, injecting additional social data so users get a complete view again (not just LinkedIn profiles). For non-Rapportive users, Discoverly works much like the Rapportive of old, showing the complete social profiles of email correspondents.
While this is our biggest launch to date and our flagship offering, we’re certainly not done. The launch enables Discoverly to start stitching together the open social graphs like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc with “dark graphs” likes email, calendar and phone, to let our users extract value from the wealth of social data at their finger tips in new ways.
